The American Ski Annual was the first of the ski magazines, full of original ads on ski areas, skiing products, (sun screens, sun glasses, etc.) and ski equipment. Some of the greatest writers including Arnold Lunn, Fred H McNeil, Roland Palmedo, contributed wonderful articles about the state of skiing at that time. It was published by the National Ski Association, by Steven Daye Press, Brattleboro, VT. The Editor in Chief was Roger Langely.
Art work was done by Benson. It is a really classic image of the early 1940’s ski racer.
