Moonlight Basin was a ski resort in southwestern Montana, located in the Madison Range of the Rocky Mountains near the resort village of Big Sky. In October 2012, it, along with the Club at Spanish Peaks, merged to become part of the ski resort of Big Sky, making Big Sky the largest single ski resort in the nation, with over 5,700 acres of terrain & 30+ chairlifts.
