Snuffy O’Neil Difficult Creek Vintage Ski Poster
“Snuffy” O’Neil developed a fondness for Aspen as a 10th Mountain trooper. In and out of town, during and after the war, O’Neil was known for drawing caricatures of locals. Some caricatures graced the walls of local bars, like the Red Onion. Snuffy O’Neil was a famous cartoonist in the 1950’s that had lots of fun with skiing humor. Difficult Creek Run was certainly “difficult to impossible” with the old long boards in the 1950’s. It is steep, challenging terrain that is now used by the Aspen Ski Company as a prime area for their snowcat powder tours.
These are Giclée prints. Two Sizes: 11 x 14 inches and 16 x 20 inches.
