Tommy Waltner Skiing Powder for a Rossignol Vintage Advertisement
Tommy Waltner is showing his unique style while skiing powder in Aspen, CO for a Rossignol Advertisement. Tommy worked for Rossignol as a Rep from 1979 to 1982. Tommy is a great skier, a accomplished ski instructor for 4 decades in Aspen and is a advocate for the sport he loves. Tommy was also on the early pro race circuit when Benson and Hedges sponsored the tour. He also helped set up the reception area for the 1980 Lake Placid Winter Olympics.
One of his more recent accomplishments is establishing “Loops For Lupus.” From December 1999 until January 2001 Tommy preformed ‘loops’ (aerial somersaults) regularly on Aspen Mountain to raise funds and heighten awareness about lupus. He daily preformed of his ‘loops’ in front of Bonnie’s Restaurant on Aspen Mountain. During this time he significantly raised funds and awareness.
