The ski resort Silvretta Montafon is located in the Montafon (Austria, Vorarlberg, Bludenz). For skiing and snowboarding, there are 113 km of slopes and 27 km of ski routes available. 37 lifts transport the guests. The winter sports area is situated between the elevations of 700 and 2,430 m.

The Silvretta Montafon ski resort offers countless kilometers of slopes of all difficulty levels and spectacular conditions for winter sports – the perfect ingredients for a successful ski holiday. With constant new features and improvements, such as the Panorama lift (8-person gondola lift) and the Silvretta lift (the fastest 8-person chairlift in Vorarlberg), they continue to increase the comfort of their guests.
Located at 2,430 meters above sea level, perfect conditions for skiing and snowboarding are available from very early winter right into spring. In addition to snow reliability, the Silvretta Montafon winter sports area’s outstanding accessibility is a further major plus point. Additional highlights include numerous events such as the FIS Snowboarder Cross World Cup and big name concerts to mark the start and end of the season.

Best tips for Silvretta Montafon

Silvretta – Montafon incorporates 140km of slopes spread between two valleys, but all linked by a modern and powerful lift system. Most of the skiing can be found in the Hochjoch and Vallisera areas, where a great range of intermediate cruising above the tree line. Accommodation is mostly found in the three valley towns of Gaschurn, St Gallenkirch and Schruns, all of which are well linked to the ski area by moder gondolas.
