Skiing in USA

The USA is renowned for having all things big and ostentatious, and the US ski resorts are no exception. Many of the USA ski resorts are mega-large and have over 1,000 hectares of skiing terrain. The associated profile of many of the US ski resorts is also large such that they have become household names in the skiing industry. Who hasn’t heard of Vail ski resort, Aspen, Snowbird or Deer Valley?

There are many benefits to snowboarding or skiing in USA. Outstanding lift systems such that there are negligible lift lines, high annual snowfalls, fantastic facilities, and the classic high standards of US hospitality – why wouldn’t you want to ski in America?

Skiing in Canada

Snowboarding and skiing in Canada is considered an institution and for good reason. Canada is very well known for having legendary ski resorts. There is no shortage of great snow in Canada, and the mountains are big and naturally beautiful. Lift infrastructure and facilities are impressive at the Canada ski resorts without being overly grandiose, and the laidback atmosphere and friendly locals are a major drawcard for skiing in Canada.

With the exception of Whistler and Banff, the Canada ski resorts feel almost deserted. The lack of crowds keeps powderhounds very happy with plenty of opportunities for fresh tracks. And if the Canadian ski resorts aren’t enough to satisfy every whim, powderhounds can spread their wings and go heli-skiing. Heli skiing Canada is world renowned! Alternatively powder hounds can become powder cats and partake in some BC cat skiing.

Skiing in South America

Ski South America for a great vacation – fantástico y excelente! South America is not just famous amongst international travellers for Latin salsa dancing, Machu Picchu and scantily clad Brazilian beach-goers. There is also some great skiing to be found, especially in the Andes of Argentina and Chile. Skiing in South America is world renowned, but it is particularly popular amongst keen skiers and boarders from the USA and Canada who need a ski fix during the Northern hemisphere summer.
