Best tips for The Remarkables
Overlooking Queenstown 45 minutes away, the Remarkables consists of three bleak basins with slopes popular with families and beginners. But many of the back bowls offer good expert terrain. The resort is popular with snowboarders too, many of whom come for the extensive terrain park facilities, including half-pipes and The Stash natural park (designed by Burton). There is a big day lodge at the base, and ski buses (free with lift passes) to and from Queenstown.
