Best tips for Arapahoe Basin

Small, exceptionally high day-skiing area near Keystone with excellent snowfall record and very long season. Lifts to good mix of open and wooded runs of every standard, plus serious steeps (some reached by hiking). Undergoing a big transformation from being mainly a cult resort for locals to having more all-round appeal. The resort almost doubled in size with the opening of Montezuma Bowl and a fast quad a few years back (adding 400acres and 34 runs). It now has a mid-mountain restaurant too. And a fast quad replaces the old Exhibition triple chair out of the base area for 2010/11.
