Aspen Skiing Company and Vail Resorts join ski resorts across the country in pledging to continue to battle climate change.
The two competitors, Aspen Skiing Company and Vail Resorts, has decided to join to battle climate change together.
In response to the Donald Trumps decision about that the U.S. will withdraw from the Paris Climate Change Agreement, Aspen Skiing Company and Vail Resorts have joined over 1,200 other businesses, states, politicians, and universities in signing the open letter, “We Are Still In.”

Signers of the letter are pledging to remain engaged with the international community to keep global warming below 2 degrees C, as well as accelerate the transition to a clean-energy economy.
Vail Resorts CEO Rob Katz said in a statement that “Vail Resorts will redouble our efforts to find significant ways to minimize our carbon footprint through reducing our energy use to help address one of the most serious challenges facing our worldwide community.”
